Merry Christmas to you all.
May your holiday be filled with many special memories. I know I never remember what I received or even gave from Christmas to Christmas, but I remember distinctly the memories formed and the relationships built. In our experience of this Christ child, may the relationships we build with and through him be ones that matter and are remembered.

Hey Rob, can you send this out to remind people that there is a workday on Saturday, feel free to add anything else:
Hey everyone,
Please come out to the Garden Workday on Saturday the 15th at 8:30 am. The grounds workday begins at 9 am, and volunteers are encouraged to help with that after working in the garden. We will be planting the rest of the beds, leveling out the space next to the raised beds for in-ground beds and doing other cleanup in the garden. Shovels, wheelbarrows, and rakes will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Katie
The pumpkins are coming! The pumpkins are coming!
We need to get our pumpkin patch ready for the pumpkins which will be delivered (hopefully) on Wednesday, Oct. 12th at 4:00 pm. So this Sunday, October 2nd, we will be setting up the pumpkin patch right after the 11:10 worship service. All youth and parents are urged to stay and help. It should not take that long if we have a lot of participation. We will need to set up signs, decorations, set up the tent, put up the fence, and string the lights along the fence, etc. etc.
Also sign ups for the pumpkin patch will begin at that time. All youth and their parents will be able to sign up for 4 shifts at that time. All shifts that have not been signed up for by youth on October 9th will become available to anyone on a first come basis. The pumpkin patch has typically been a great way to earn money to help pay for your mission trips, Montreat, PC conference, ski trip, etc. If you have signed up to work a shift at the pumpkin patch and you have a change in your schedule, please try and find someone to work the shift for you. It is important that we have adequate coverage of shifts for safety reasons. We need two adults at each shift and we certainly don’t want our younger youth being dropped off at the patch without an adult being there with them.
Delivery of the pumpkins is scheduled for Wed., Oct. 12th at 4:00 pm. Everyone please plan on being at the patch ready to work. Invite your friends, neighbors, parents, and anyone else you can think of to come help us. Unloading is a fun time but certainly easier when you have lots of hands (and backs).
Any questions just email us at shalls5@comcast.net or call Alan at 770-294-5269 or Carol at 770-318-7548.
See ya at the pumpkin patch!

Hey all,
Last night we experienced a great youth worship experience. I’ve had several of you ask when it would be done again and if you can help. Well, we are going to try to do it once a month and yes we need all leadership that we can find. If you want to sing or play a shaker or whatever, let me know. If you want to speak or share how God has been moving in your life let me know.
God bless
Rob
